We did the Puyallup. Twice.

Reagan is now a Puyallup Fair veteran. For those of you outside Washington, the Puyallup Fair is a huge fair that comes around once a year, twice if you count the Spring Fair but that one isn't as cool. It's been a great tradition in my family and I was happy to get Reagan started on her love affair with the Fair. We went last Monday with my parents and brother, Jake and then again on Thursday with Jake and Lauren and Megan, the girls I used to nanny. Both times were great but it was extra fun now that Lauren and Megan were tall enough to ride some "scary for them" rides. I thought we were going to have a reinactment of the fair scene from Sandlot but the girls did great. They had free face painting which isn't even face painting anymore, it's airbrushing. That worked out for us since it took about 2 seconds for them to airbrush a star on Reagan's face. Here are some cute pictures!!

Reagan and grandpa with a chicken at the Fair. She loved this guy!! She kept pointing at him and giggling when he came near.

I've also been feeling a little crafty and have been working on several projects. Here is the first completed one. I made these super cute blocks for peanut. They were so easy! I bought some plain hollow blocks from the craft store (hollow is key here, no denting the wood floors when they're chucked across the room). Next I painted them and cut out some cute paper squares and glued them to all sides of the blocks. Then I Mod Podged it all and let them dry overnight. Reagan loves them and so do I. I'm a little jealous that I made something so cute and I don't get to play with them. Someone's very possesive of her new blocks. They look huge in this picture but they're small hand size. I'm going to try doing the same thing but with pictures, I'll let you know how that goes!!
